CENTENNIAL SHINDIG - EVENT FAQ
When and where is the event?
The Centennial Shindig will take place at Edison Ballroom (240 W 47th St) on Thursday, April 28, 2022. The event will be from 6:30 - 10:30 p.m.
What’s a Shindig?
Once called the Big Auction. Then the Big Party, the Shindig is a fun, biennial celebration that brings together the entire LREI community while raising necessary funds for the school. This year will be even more special as we celebrate 100 years of LREI! Don’t miss the party of the century!
How is the Shindig different from the Big Auction?
The goal of the Shindig is to have a fun, casual, community-orientated party that also raises funds for the school. We hope that everyone can attend and have created a “pay what you can” ticket option in addition to other ticket options. Giving opportunities will include a silent auction, numerous raffles, and a fund-a-cause appeal.
Who is coming?
We are inviting the entire LREI community (21+) including current families, alumni, past families, grandparents, faculty/staff (past and present!), and friends of LREI. We hope that everyone can attend!
What should I wear?
The dress code is casual, but feel free to wear whatever you would like!
What will we do at the event?
Get ready to party! This event will have cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, music, dancing, a photo booth, bingo, and more! To meet our fundraising goals, there will be a silent auction, raffles, and fund-a-cause.
Where can I get updates about the event?
